Smart Meter Overview
Navayo Smart Meter is a highly secure solution for the remote management of energy meter systems. The unique feature of Smart Meter is the implementation of the proprietary patented MVCN authentication protocol which allows secure communication between the utility provider and energy meter equipment.
With Navayo Smart Meter monitoring and measuring electricity consumption is completely secure, moreover it is entirely possible to remotely switch the electricity supply of an intelligent consumer device or the energy meter off if necessary. The utility provider will no longer be required to visit off site locations to perform such tasks.
Navayo is offering two types of services for utility providers:
- Establishing a secure communication module for existing digital energy meter systems that do not have a solution for encrypted communication.
- Production and installation of a Smart Meter system (including energy meters and a secure communication module preventing any attempts of falsifying the measurement data).
