Navayo
Navajo Indians are an indigenous people originating from the Northern Arizona region. They received fame and worldwide recognition during WWII, when the Navajo language was used to encrypt and transmit highly classified messages using open radio frequencies. Word substitution was used to describe military terms using similar words found in the Navajo language. This is how the word "tank" came to be described as "turtle" and Britain was described using „toh-ta", the Navajo word for „between waters".
While attempts were made to decipher the Navajo encryption, the sophisticated, yet simple, encryption mechanism was never broken. This is the idea that Navayo has adopted and advanced into th 21st Century. The strong ommitment to create easy to use devices that provide a high level of security of data is underlined in Navayo's product range.
